This work embodies the variation of memories created each time I recall a moment. By accessing the archive of a memory, I alter small details of that memory, rewriting the past as I am trying to remember it so that it inevitably gets further and further from an ultimate truth. For this work, I digitally printed a compiled photograph and then screen printed the image on six plexiglass panels. On some of the panels I edited the image further by pochoir-printing new information such as a misremembered color of a piece of clothing or an over-simplified version of a familiar palm tree.
